gloom, despair, and agony

For some reason, that only partly describes me.

I am on the verge of taking an actual vacation. In two weeks I am scheduled to go on a week long backpacking trip. Whether I am laid off or not.

Craziness. The notion of being on vacation when the floor’s about to fall out from under you makes my head spin, but here I am.

Hopefully the vacation will energize the job search….

    I would love to come with you! Where are you going? But in all honesty, Impending Doom ™ doesn’t allow for a vacation right now, and I really need one!
