I wanted to use the complimentary wifi that comes with the dsl account. I got dsl minus the home phone - so have a fake phone number for an account number.
To access wifi at Starbucks or McDonalds one must use your account username. I never used the email addy that came with the service, so don't remember the password. I can't reset the password without a phone number; the account number I have does not actually work tho it is the required length and in fact my account number.
AT&T, your website sucks rocks.
Three tech support guys plus the one in the online chat could not figure out what I was trying to tell them - one wanted to reset my modem and thought that would fix it.
AT&T, your tech support geeks don't understand simple English.
After much surfing around and clicking I figured out how to do it MYSELF. It was not intuitive and not exactly what you could call user friendly.
In other news, I ordered study supplies for the licensing exams. I may be eating pb&j sandwiches for a while.
... it's only paperwork now.
3000 hours is a lot more time than you expect it to be.
Just moved into a better, more open, bigger place. Like most apartments there is a coat closet in the entry. The front door opens into the apartment, the screen/security door opens outward, the coat closet opens out into the entry at a right angle to the front door.
My cat likes to pry open cabinets and closets to investigate the insides.
The coat closet doesn't have a proper doorknob/latch.
I sure hope my neighbors were at Easter service and didn't hear me swearing at my cat while I tried to figure out how she blocked me out of my own apartment.
ETA: last night she opened every cabinet at knee level and hurked orange half digested cat food in three spots (that I found). I wish she would just tell me she doesn't like moving and get it done.

hours adding up to 3000 in just another week or so.
burnt out to the point of wanting to quit and work at Disneyland instead.

I even have a real fic idea - perhaps I shall being writing fanfic again, perhaps I will be working up an actual novel. Hope springs eternal.
I moved, and next Saturday, I move again. Maybe I'll stay put for a while then.
